Windgram for July 2 @ MacKenzie launch |
It was a great-looking day but I found the climbs and air a bit rough, and not much fun. Completely doable to do the Spindrift-and-return run, but I wasn't in the mood to get beat up on the run, so turned around at Goat Mountain. After returning to launch I crossed over to Satellite peak and found the air much nicer over there, and had a great time boating around over the Rutherford valley and the Miller drainage and watching the pilots coming back from Whistler *way* low.
